Shopping on a budget can be frustrating and downright not fun. It occurs often when you're doing this thing called adulting and if you're like me, you hope for a chance to splurge on yourself to get things you WANT instead of constantly paying for things you NEED (like paying bills).
This pandemic has not helped things. Since the reopening of businesses (those that survived the pandemic), prices have skyrocketed which I'm sure it's to help these businesses regain ground. Many are on tight budgets. Grocery shopping has even become a headache because $40 doesn't get you far even in the discounted grocery stores like Aldi's and Grocery Outlet. The average lowest grocery bill for my family of 5 is $70-$80 while the most expensive has been $160-180. It may seem low but when you take bills and other necessities into account, that's a lot to lose.
One way to save money is to use an app called Flashfood. Flashfood tells you what stores in your area has discounted items for you to purchase. My area's primary participating store is Giant and since there are so many around me, I can choose products from different locations. When you go to pick up your items and they don't have everything you chose, they will either find a substitute or you get refunded for that item through the app. I've been using Flashfood for over a year now and since I started, here is what I saved:
$632 and I'm about to save more! So what does all this have to do with being a Tupper Rebel? I understand where you're coming from and I am here to help you save money. (Whoa that sounds like a gimmick) But it's not!
I never endorse something that I don't believe in and Tupperware makes amazing products that bring family together in more ways than one. I know when I look through the catalog, there is so much that I want but can't afford right now (that's why I sell but that's another blog for another time). I've been invited to so many different parties for direct sales that I feel awful I can't support my friends and make a purchase. Most of them tend to occur during my non-paid weeks.
Partying with this Tupper Rebel gives you something for you (the host) and your guests. What do I mean? I call myself a Tupper Rebel because I do my business my way, within reason, of course. There are always guidelines you must follow. I'm not a rule breaker, I just enjoy investing myself in everything I do. I think of new ways to make things exciting to keep the energy up.
For my hosts, the sky is the limit with how much free product you can earn during your party however I do throw in an extra incentive when your party hits $1000 in orders. When your party reaches $1000 in orders (and I've only had one so far), I will send you a $25 gift card from me to you.
For guests, when you place an order, you automatically become entered into what I call our Goal Raffle. Every time we hit $100 in sales, a drawing is done for those who placed an order. The prizes are a piece of Tupperware. As the rounds increase, so do the value of the prize. The first prize is always a mystery prize from the Tupperware goodie bag. From there, the prizes come right from the catalog OR from our current specials. Those who have placed an order previously are entered into each round. The prizes are generally ordered during or after the party has ended and ship out as soon as I receive those I don't have in stock. Guests enjoy the Goal Raffle because of the prizes and it encourages friendly competition. We always have fun during the drawings.
If you are unable to order, you can also support your host by booking your own Tupperware party. The perks are amazing especially the host bonus products you can earn when people book and order from your party. It's as easy as 1 2 3. Virtual parties take place on Facebook or Zoom and is the most laid back of the party formats. You don't have to worry about cleaning or refreshments. It's from the comfort of your own home. We play games, win prizes, and stay engaged throughout. I also do a Messenger party and will do in-house parties as well.
Treat yourself, you deserve it and as we have all experienced, it's important to save money in any way you can.
